Rob Hellyer, Owner
Rob Hellyer is the owner of Premier Remodeling and Construction, L.P. which was founded in 2002.
Rob has spent his entire career in the construction and engineering industries, with 26 years of experience in project management of multinational engineering firms. It all started at the age of 12, when Rob worked weekends with his father on various residential and commercial remodeling projects and custom homes. He began his adult career in the industry in 1976 at Brown & Root.
Customer satisfaction is Rob’s number one goal, as he takes great pride in his work. He is a proud member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, becoming a board member for GHBA in 2005. He was also a member of the Houston Archaeological & Historical Commission from 2009 to 2017, giving him a unique expertise on homes located within the older, more historical neighborhoods of Houston. Other accolades include Certified Graduate Remodeler, Graduate Master Builder, and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist from the National Association of Home Builders.
Rob and his wife, Andrea, who have resided in the Houston Heights for over nine years, have a strong commitment to animals and have two fur babies at home, Belle and Ruby.
Britta Clayton, Office Manager
Britta Clayton serves as the Office Manager and Assistant to the President and joined the Premier Remodeling family in March 2017.
Britta began her career in the commercial real estate/property management world in 1988. Over the past 30 years, she’s worked with internationally renowned companies such as RE/MAX International, PM Realty Group, CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang LaSalle and The Richland Companies, providing her with a rich industry background in real estate. This, coupled with her outstanding management and leadership skills, give Britta a unique insight into home remodeling, customer service and client satisfaction.
Having four grown children and three grandchildren gives Britta the perfect excuse to travel, and in her free time she enjoys playing golf, movie watching, attending Astros games and sampling the plethora of fine cuisine that Houston has to offer.
Her obsession with super heroes, specifically Wonder Woman, started when she was in the first grade and is made clear when you see her custom license plate: 1DRWOMN.
Paul Henry, Project Manager
Paul Henry joined the Premier Remodeling family in 2015 as Project Manager and holds over 20 years of experience in the remodeling industry.
Originally from Florida, Paul has worked on various remodeling projects across both Florida and the Lone Star State.
His experience spans from proposal development and bids to wood flooring, tile, stairways, cabinets, dry wall installation and repair, and so much more. Paul’s passion for carpentry brought him to where he is today, and he carries that passion with him through every remodeling project he works on.
He and his wife July live in Texas City with their daughter, Kelly. Paul owns his own food truck and enjoys cooking for local events at their church and for friends.
Belle is the official mascot and guard dog for Premier Remodeling and takes her duties very seriously.
Rob adopted Belle in March 2010 when she was about nine months old, and July 4th was thereafter proclaimed as her birthday. Belle is a big girl as she is a Bull Mastiff mix, but don’t let her size scare you. She’s one of the most friendly, lovable dogs you’ll ever meet.
Her favorite activities include taking long, luxurious naps throughout the day, showing off her smarts by shaking, sitting and laying for “treats”, going for walks on the beach and playing in the water (not too deep, though!), and letting everyone in the office know when a stranger approaches. She especially enjoys hanging out of our second story window and watching the children as they’re released from the school across the street at the end of the day.
Belle is definitely one of the Premier Remodeling family and everyone that comes into contact with her falls instantly in love.
