TWO TIME GHBA REMODELER OF THE YEAR
Each year the GHBA recognizes the contributions of a remodeler to the association, industry, and community. Mr. Hellyer served as President of the GHBA Remodelers Council in 2011 and on the GHBA Board of Directors. Under his guidance, the Remodelors Council rebuilt classroom facilities for S.I.R.E., an equestrian therapy center and adopted two needy families through the Adopt-a-Family program.
He also represents the industry as the first remodeler member of the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission. He is a Certified Graduate Remodeler, Graduate Master Builder and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist by the National Association of Home Builders and was twice recognized by the NAHB for his service to industry and community.
